Working on that Workout!

As some of you who follow my blog, will know that I've been banging on about my weight for a little while now!

I started posting my weekly weigh-ins and updates on how my week of exercise & eating went, but I haven't done that for a while as I'm embarrassed to say, it's only crept up and not down! Argh! I'm blaming Christmas! Nothing to do with my lack of willpower!

As it's a new year and the slate is wiped clean I feel really motivated to get on with my fitness. I'm changing my mindset slightly when it comes to my weight. Instead of focusing so much on what I'm eating and banning myself of carbs and treats (which in the end, just makes me binge) I'm putting more of my focus into exercise and toning and hoping the fitter I get, my weight will start to adjust and my pot belly and muffins will disappear.

I've discovered some apps on my iPhone which I'm loving and finding really easy to use and actually sticking too. They are called lolo. There are five that I have downloaded and they are all free! Even better. The first one is lolo 7 minutes. Which is basically an intensive 7 minute workout. How easy is that?! Everyone has 7 minutes to spare right? I usually do mine in the morning, sometimes still in my pj's! It's amazing how puffed out I get on such a short workout!

The other apps are lolo Killer Butt, lolo Easy Legs, lolo Easy Arms and lolo Easy Abs. If you're like me and desperate to get in shape, but are really not a 'gym bunny' give these a whirl and let me know how you get on! I'm hoping with regular exercise and normal healthy eating (everything in moderation) I will be back in shape in no time!
