Good morning, good morning!

I hope everyone's had/having a fab weekend. As you know, Sunday is the start of the week here in the UAE, as Friday and Saturday are our weekends. I've packed hubby off to work and I'm catching up with emails etc over a cup of green tea before I embark on my usual Sunday, of blitzing the house from top to bottom! #domesticgoddess

We had a fantastic end to our weekend. After a great shopping day Friday. We sat out in the sun on Saturday for a couple of hours, then went and checked out the new coffee shop that's opened up near us, at Al Hamra Marina, called Tucano Coffee. As it was still the middle of the day and blazing sunshine we went for a very calorific milkshake each! I went for the Vanilla m&m's and hubby had the Chocolate m&m's. They were lovely with loads of cream on top! But, the m&m's were peanut, a bit disappointing, as we're not a fan, so next time we'll opt for them without! Still it was lovely sitting out overlooking the marina.

In the evening we had the best email come through from Spain. Pictures of our finished house. OMG! It looks amazing! We're so happy its crazy. The whole of the outside has be re-rendered and repainted with a new colour and looks gorgeous. The new kitchen has been fitted and that looks soo good. We're itching to get back over now to see it for real.

So, all in all a fab weekend for us. Oh and Chelsea won last night, so hubby was extra happy!

Read more on my  Disclaimer/Contact  page ~ Since writing the post ' Blogging tips ~ Basic/Beginners'   I keep thinking about the part about choosing a name for your blog. If you've been here a while you'd know that this blog was originally called Suncream and Sparkles ~ which I have written about why I changed my blog name  here . Even though I do love my new blog name and I don't regret changing it I do wish I had taken more time and consideration in the very beginning when first starting my blog, or at least before buying the domain. You see blogging, even now for me who's been doing it for a fair few years, it really is a constant learning curve where you're always discovering new ways and new ideas to tweak and improve your blog. If you're debating on what name to choose for your

Mil Palmeras

Happy Thursday guys, hope you're all well. I'm just popping on here to show you a few pictures I snapped quickly today while we were at Mil Palmeras Beach. We popped to Mercadona this morning, well more lunchtime(ish) as we are sleeping in so much lately, but that's for another day. So, we picked up a few bits for the weekend and grabbed one of their sushi boxes for our lunch on the go. fyi , the best supermarket sushi I've had! After our trip to Mercadona we headed for Leroy Merlin in La Zenia as we needed to get some more bags of sand and some gravel too for our little diy garden project. I say little, but it's turning into quite the construction! Keep an eye on my  insta stories   over the weekend for updates. En-route to Leroy's we stopped off at Mil Palmeras to eat our sushi by the sea. Mil Palmeras has always been one of our favourite places here on the Costa Blanca South. Actually it was one of the first places we went to after the lockdown last year.  To

This isn't just a one off trip either. It is for, well, the foreseeable future, for as long as they'll have us anyway.  If you follow my social media,  Instagram  and  Twitter  you've probably picked up on the fact that we have relocated to Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The gist of the reason is that my husband was offered a fantastic position out there and to be honest after trying out semi-retirement and with the whole pandemic thing where we've (all) been extremely restricted we were itching for another adventure. We also never realised how much we missed the Middle East.  Previously we had five years out in the UAE, living in Abu D
