GlassesShop.com

Hola!

Arghhhhh!

It's been so long since I updated my blog (well it seems like it anyway!) and even though I am loving, loving, loving my time here in Spain and all our gorgeous visitors, I am feeling a tad guilty that Suncream and Sparkles is getting a little bit neglected!

So, I have peeled myself out of bed and am writing you guys this post, as I need to tell you about this fab company the GlassesShop.com!

*So, when the lovely people at the GlassesShop.com asked if I wanted to review a pair of their sunglasses, I of course jumped at the chance!

These little beauties turned up in my P.O Box and I was soo excited to see (no pun intended!) what they're like.

So of course, I partook in the obligatory selfies and promptly took them for a little outing to the marina for pizza and a glass of vino! As you do!

Now, the GlassesShop.com are not any ordinary sunglasses shop, they also have Prescription Eyeglasses as well as Prescription Sunglasses.

And if you're quick they're also doing an offer for new customers where you get the First pair of Glasses Free! Which basically means your first pair is free (except shipping and handling!).

I am loving my new sunnies, they really do feel great quality and they're cheap glasses too! I have been getting lot's of compliments and these babies won't be leaving my side!

If you fancy getting yourself a pair, the lovely people at the GlassesShop.com are offering you guys 50% off on eyeglasses and sunglasses with free lenses! (sale frames excluded!)

Use this code GSHOT50 to get your discount!!

Tag me on Insta and Twitter so I can see you all in these gorgeous
Eyeglasses and Sunglasses!!

Choosing a name for your blog

Read more on my  Disclaimer/Contact  page ~ Since writing the post ' Blogging tips ~ Basic/Beginners'   I keep thinking about the part about choosing a name for your blog. If you've been here a while you'd know that this blog was originally called Suncream and Sparkles ~ which I have written about why I changed my blog name  here . Even though I do love my new blog name and I don't regret changing it I do wish I had taken more time and consideration in the very beginning when first starting my blog, or at least before buying the domain. You see blogging, even now for me who's been doing it for a fair few years, it really is a constant learning curve where you're always discovering new ways and new ideas to tweak and improve your blog. If you're debating on what name to choose for your

Mil Palmeras

Happy Thursday guys, hope you're all well. I'm just popping on here to show you a few pictures I snapped quickly today while we were at Mil Palmeras Beach. We popped to Mercadona this morning, well more lunchtime(ish) as we are sleeping in so much lately, but that's for another day. So, we picked up a few bits for the weekend and grabbed one of their sushi boxes for our lunch on the go. fyi , the best supermarket sushi I've had! After our trip to Mercadona we headed for Leroy Merlin in La Zenia as we needed to get some more bags of sand and some gravel too for our little diy garden project. I say little, but it's turning into quite the construction! Keep an eye on my  insta stories   over the weekend for updates. En-route to Leroy's we stopped off at Mil Palmeras to eat our sushi by the sea. Mil Palmeras has always been one of our favourite places here on the Costa Blanca South. Actually it was one of the first places we went to after the lockdown last year.  To

Looking for compounds in Riyadh

When Mark was first offered the job in Saudi, actually even before that when we were waiting in anticipation for the job to be offered we knew our first choice of accommodation in Riyadh would be on a western compound. We wanted our new place to be a home from home. Even though we have no problem whatsoever with following dress codes or anything and it actually doesn’t bother us in the slightest covering up. We sometimes, because of the world we’re from, being a westerner we wanted that little bit of ‘normality’ from our home life that we’re used too. We like to go on walks in the evening so it’s nice to be able to just pop on your shorts and vest and go for a walk without thinking and also being able to pop to the mini market for a pint of milk and a loaf of bread. Probably one of the biggest reasons for us to live on a compound is that we like to swim, sunbathe and be at the pool together. Which for us is a big part of our life. Another thing we like about compound living is the esca
